Capstone Project Help

Hello,

I am currently a graduate student at Carroll University and I am preparing to finish off my Software Engineering program with a Capstone project. I need some help in a couple of different ways.

My project will consist of a medical expense tracker in which people can track their expenses by providing provider and insurance/payment information related to those expenses. A goal of this project is to keep the entry portion of the project available at no cost while keeping customer identities anonymous.

I am looking for two things for my project. First, I need to collect insurance statement of benefits in order to gather the requirements of what needs to be entered into the system. Each state and insurance company is different so I am looking to build a structure that would accommodate all the information between insurance companies and their respective state policies. I need scanned copies (personal information such a name, address, phone, policy number, etc. should be removed from the statements prior to sending) of those statements in order to build the data structures needed to support the system.

The second thing is I am looking for 3-5 people to serve as the project customers. In other words, I would like to hand select 3-5 people with diverse medical usage backgrounds to serve as the voice of the customer for this system and act as a steering committee. This
is strictly a voluntary role and would require availability of volunteers to review documentation, provide feedback about functionality, test the system, and participate in regularly scheduled meetings held through Google+. I’m not a big fan of big documentation or meetings so I will keep such tasks to a minimum.

I will provide instructions on how to submit a brief write-up of why you would like to volunteer as a project customer and describe your current use of medical insurance and how you currently track your medical expenses along with your frequency of using such services. I don’t need any health information such as diagnoses or history; I am looking more for frequency of use so I can keep the panel diverse.
